Padmanabha: On a morning walk I asked, “Srila Prabhupada, I approach a lot of business people for donations, not for book distribution. Do these people gain anything when they give money but don’t know that they’re giving it to Krishna?” He said, “This is called ‘ajnata sukriti’.” I thought, “Ajnata means ‘done unknowingly,’ and sukriti means ‘pious activity’.” Prabhupada said, “They make some advancement without knowing it.”
