Jashomatinandana: In Mayapur, 1977, Prabhupada had a fever so somebody was with him constantly. I was gently massaging him about two o’clock in the morning when he woke up and said, “These rascal scientists do not accept this. Go and preach to them, tell them that you are not the body that you are a spirit soul, and the proof is that in this life the soul is transmigrating from childhood to youth to old age.” Prabhupada spoke philosophy at 2:30 in the morning in the middle of a heavy fever, and after ten or fifteen minutes went back to sleep. He was dreaming about preaching and living for preaching.
