Meeting between Srila Prabhupada and Srila Lalita Prasad

Dinatarini Dasi : On the return trip from the festival in Mayapur on March 2, 1972. Srila Prabhupada made a pilgrimage with some of his disciples to the birthplace of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura in Birnagar, known as Ulugram in the Thakura’s youth. Maintained by the last surviving son of the Thakura, Srila Lalita Prasad, it was known as the Bhaktivinoda institute. As Srila Lalita Prasad was the son of Bhaktivinoda Thakura and the brother of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakura, Srila Prabhupada was careful to humbly extend all honor and respect to him. Yamuna, who was also present, attentively observed the etiquette, and the meeting and exchanges between Srila Prabhupada and Srila Lalita Prasad were very respectful and sweet.
