ISKCON signed deed for Raman Reti site

Mahanidhi Dasa: On March 12, 1972, ISKCON signed the deed for the Raman Reti land, future site of the Krishna-Balaram temple. Ksirodakasayi, who secured the property for Prabhupada, portrays the social climate at that time.

Ksirodakasayi: “The residents of Vrindavan were not so favorable to the devotees when they first arrived. But after seeing their determination in performing Hari Nam Sankirtan everyday, even in summer’s scorching sun, they were very impressed that the devotees were serious.”
