Lokanatha Swami: Atmatattva Prabhu has done thorough research in many sastras and explains how they reveal Srila Prabhupada’s very extraordinary position as the acarya of the Golden Age. He recounts how, for thousands of years, preparations were made to set the scene for Srila Prabhupada’s arrival. Lord Caitanya Himself played a major role, arranging and adjusting things, and the previous acaryas kept themselves very busy as the time of Srila Prabhupada’s arrival got closer. In one of his presentations, Atmatattva explains the position of Srila Prabhupada in a nutshell, using the example of a bow and arrow.
The four bends of the bow represent the four Vaisnava sampradayas, and Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is the string that connects them. Without the string, a bow is useless. Lord Caitanya came and strung the bow. Next an arrow was needed, along with the proper direction for it to be shot. Usually an arrow has feathers at the end, which direct its course. In this case, the six Gosvamis are the feathers. The shaft of the arrow is the Gaudiya Mission of sixty-four mathas established by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Maharaja. The last element missing was the sharp point at the tip of the arrow. That sharp point is Om Visnupada Paramaharnsa Parivrajakacarya Astottara-sata Sri Srimad A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. This is the part of the arrow that hits the target and reaches the goal. And the target is every town and village.
