Harivilas : I said, “Prabhupada, I think that our temple can be maintained by doing a little business.” Immediately he said, “You should not do.” I said, “Why not?” He said, “Because your business is preaching. You are a brahmachari. If there is grihastha . . .” I said, “Yes, Lochanananda.” He said, “Yes. Lochanananda can do. He is a grihastha. He can do business. But you are brahmachari. Your business is preaching.” Prabhupada was very firm on that point, and he gave me an important instruction that I followed. Lochanananda started the business, and it helped the temple a lot.
